Event Description:
One of the most iconic bombers of WWII, the B-17 Flying Fortress, will be on public exhibition at the Premier Jet Center ramp located at Flying Cloud Airport. The visiting B-17 Flying Fortress 'Sentimental Journey' is one of only ten airworthy in the world. The classic warbird was restored to authentic condition by Commemorative Air Force volunteers as part of its flying museum tour programs. In addition to ground tours of the aircraft -- rides in the aircraft will be offered $425 waist gunner/radio operator seats, $850 bombardier/navigator seats in nose - for reservations contact 602-448-9415 or email b17rc@azcaf.org.
