Event Description:
Carver County is hosting a luncheon meeting event at the Arboretum at noon on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 for E-Workplace.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MN/DOT) in partnership with the University of MN Humphrey Institute launched the eWorkPlace initiative in the beginning of June 2009. The main purpose of the initiative is to reduce congestion on the roads in and around the Twin Cities by encouraging employers to offer workers the option of teleworking (working from home or a remote location and connecting to the office, co-workers and clients using the Internet and other technology).
